CURCIO" di ISPICA RG Giovedì 3 Aprile A scuola Dopo l'arrivo a scuola, alle ore 8.30 ci siamo recati in sala computer e abbiamo usufruito della connessione a Internet della scuola, per lavorare sui diari e ricercare notizie sul sistema scolastico olandese. Abbiamo letto che è diverso da quello italiano; la durata della giornata scolastica è maggiore rispetto che in Italia, fino alle 15.10, mentre in Italia dura fino alle 14.00; qui la ricreazione ha luogo due volte al giorno, mentre in Italia solo una volta; nelle scuole olandesi le materie sono molto simili a quelle italiane. Alle ore 11.00 abbiamo assistito a una lezione di lingua olandese. Due ore più tardi era previsto un tour del fiume Mark per mezzo delle biciclette messeci a disposizione dai corrispondenti olandesi. Sfortunatamente, l'escursione non ha avuto luogo a causa delle non proprio ottimali condizioni climatiche. Pertanto abbiamo prolungato il nostro soggiorno nel laboratorio dei computer. Alle ore 15.10, come di consueto, la giornata scolastica è giunta al termine e ci siamo recati presso le famiglie ospitanti dove, dopo aver cenato, abbiamo trascorso una piacevole serata in loro compagnia. Ci siamo divertiti parlando delle nostre famiglie, ascoltando musica, giocando a scacchi, guardando un film in DVD e più tardi siamo andati a dormire. At 8 o` clock, we arrived at school, and at 8.30 we went to the computer lab and we used computers to work on our diaries and do some research work about the Dutch school system. We read that it`s different from the Italian one: the schoolday is longer than in Italy (until 3.10 p.m.), while in Italy we stay at school until 2.00 p.m.; here there are two breaks during the schoolday, while in Italy we have only one break; in Dutch schools the subjects are similar to the Italian ones. At 11.00 we had a Dutch lesson. Two hours later (1.00 p.m.) we had to have a cycle tour along river Mark and some characteristic landscapes arond Breda in our bikes that our Dutch families had given us. Unfortunately, we couldn`t have the tour, because it was too cold. So we stayed at school in the computerlab. At 3.10 p.m. we went out of the school and we came back to our families, where we could eat and spend a nice evening: we talked about our families, we listened to music, we played chess, we watched a DVD film and later we went to bed (at about 10:00 p.m.).
