Visita alla città di San Sebastian
On the 13th of April we visited one of the most beautiful and well-known Spanish City: San Sebastian; called in the Basque language: Donostia.
The trip from Sestao to San Sebastian was about three hours long. In the morning we visited the big and famous Aquarium. First we saw a whale’s carcass, become the symbol of the museum; a series of wrecks; different types of fishing and a typical fisher’s house. Than we visited the part of the museum full of fishes, that visitors could see throught a tunnel; we also saw sub which was giving them food. After lunch we went sightseeing the city: Santa Maria Church, the Cathedral, different squares and the Townhall. We had a walk on the sea-side, the sea water was very cold; from the sea-side it was possible to see a small isle and a beautiful statue on a hill. At about 4:30 we come back home. In the evening the Italian and Basque group with teachers and families stayed together in a restaurant (called Ongi Etorri that means Welcome). We ate “pinchos”, talked, took photos,...we enjoyed our-selves very much, but we were also unhappy because we had to leave the following day.
